Drugs music
The Realm by Venom & Damage

Coming 25 April. Digital soon to follow.

I don’t think I’ve realised how stressed I’ve been during the last few months until the last few days. I don’t know why but I was listening to Girl Unit’s 2010 mix and a big imaginary cloud that was hanging over my head since I made that OMG video has shifted. For some reason I’m really happy and finally able to appreciate music fully again. Just as well because I’ve got my first single dropping any day soon on 10″ coloured green vinyl and another one round the corner coming on digital. Tonight we worked on a pretty decent remix of Drake’s Shut It Down.
Saturday we’re DJing at Hipster’s Don’t Dance – come along it will be fun.
Here are some old old old garage tracks copied off vinyl.
I forgot all about this track – it’s very old. About 12 months ago Original Scars sent us Damage message asking to collaborate. They choose our J-Lo bootleg, the Deeper prototype, to flow over. It’s a slightly different sound so we sat on it and eventually forgot all about it. Until now…
Enjoy.
VENOM & DAMAGE – STOP ME (FEAT. ORIGINAL SCARS)
BTW expect radically different stuff from Venom & Damage soon.
This is wild.
After a year of giving up on life I’ve finally finished GTA IV and all the story packs – The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned. Characters like Niko Bellic, Luis Lopez, Little Jacob and Gay Tony have provided me with SO SO SO SO much fun.
I didn’t play games for a least a decade before I got GTA IV and to be honest I don’t really have much desire to play anything else. Maybe it’s the drug deals, the twitter pastiche, Porsches, and the coked up Brits dancing to a Paul Oakenfold piss take. It’s just a big lol.
Anyway, the game has some of the best music ever. Here are my favourite three tracks. I had to ditch Buju Banton, Cerrone, Marley Marl, DJ Khaled, Liquid Liquid and Fleetwood Mac.
Machine – There But For The Grace Of God
Skatt Brothers – Walk The Night
Hello – New York Groove

My friend Inie, one half of the fierce DJ combo, Hipsters Don’t Dance, gave me some tracks by Da Grin, P-Square and Terry G – three amazing Nigerians who have been blowing my mind.
They are all too musically diverse to be put together by anything other than their nationality. It’s all slightly generic too but that doesn’t stop it being all ridiculously good.
This is my favourite track
TERRY G – FREE MADNESS
Here’s another
We’ve got got lots of new material for you.

Two weeks ago I was mainly listening to these tunes.
Natalie Storm – Look Pon Me
Boy 8 Bit – City Under Siege
Saeed Younan – Backroom Honey
Venom & Damage feat Ibrahim – Sweat It Out (house mix)
Harry Benson – Kudzu
Alex Wizz – Drummin’ (Louis Benedetti Drumminpella)
Venom & Damage feat Original Scars – Keep On Movin’
OMG Girlz – Ain’t Nobody Thinking Bout You
If Rick James sung on a Chicago house track???

Fun times.
As sampled by the great Bitch Ass Darius in the above track.

Things are suddenly picking up again. I REALLY must sort out the release of Deeper. EVERYBODY from Adam Freeland to pirate stations in Luton are playing it now.
