If I do actually turn up you can expect a heavy bass set featuring lots of our own material that will shame all these so called producer. We are the best and if people don’t recognise they are fools.

A friend told me that when you’re old enough to remember a fashion first time around you should quit. I’ve lived through the birth and death of both rave (sort of) and nu rave (lol). I’m not sure if it will be a good or bad thing if I’m still living and breathing music 24/7 when it’s fashionable again.

The tracks featured varying degrees of help from Ben O’Shea and Alex_Tea and were recorded between 1998 and 2001. The music was intended as a pastiche or maybe a tribute to Atari Teenage Riot, Digital Hardcore, Alec Empire and other related artists of that era.

Patric C from Digital Hardcore once called me up to tell me he wanted to release our material as a 7″. I thought it was a wind up that was something to do with my friend Nadia so I slammed the phone down. Thinking about it now I don’t think it was – oops. Another label got our track featured on a compilation that was very briefly in the Singapore indie top 10. Chicks On Speed were apparently fans too!
